What we believe:

Many churches have a doctrinal statement, however, we believe the best way to understand and learn about any community is to experience it through relationship. Statements of faith can tell you what a community believes but not who they are. We believe that God is One and eternally expressed in the persons of the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit; we believe that sin is forgiven only through the sacrifice of Jesus and that we are led into eternal and abundant life in relationship with God and others through the presence and work of the Holy Spirit among us. We believe our responsibility is to love others as Jesus loves us. Beyond these core truths, we believe we can move forward in our mission growing together through our differences.

We are building a community of change-makers on mission with Jesus Christ

What That Means:

Building – We are in partnership with Jesus in this mission to build a community founded on the love and truth of Jesus. (Matthew 16:15-18, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, Ephesians 2:19-22, 4:11-13)

Community – Jesus is building a community of people, a family, called out for His purpose of reconciling the world back to himself. The people of God are a family, they are a body, they are a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. (Matthew 24:1-2, Mark 13:1-2, Luke 21:5-6, Matthew 16:15-16)

Change-Makers – Change happens when the people of God bring the love, truth, hope, mercy and grace of God to the people around them. (2 Corinthians 5:17-21, 1 Peter 2:9-9, James 1:27)

Mission – God is on a mission to reconcile His creation to Himself and we are his representatives in the world. (1 John 3:1, Romans 5:6-11, 2 Corinthians 5:14-21)

Jesus Christ – He is the reason we exist and our source. (John 1:1-14, Colossians 1:15-20, Revelation 1:17-18, 21:12-17)
